Ten percent of the undesignated offering each week goes toward our outreach missions. Each year the Bishop's committee distributes this money. In April 2008 we continued our enthusiastic commitment to the Episcopal Church in Navajoland, which received a check for $750.00. We also added $250.00 to our Episcopal Relief and Development giving, added $250.00 to the United Thank Offering, and added $250.00 to our on-going giving to Maison de Naissance, the birthing home in southern Haiti. In addition this year we gave $600.00 to Hopes Bridge and $600.00 to House of Hope which are just getting off the ground in Bolivar. We will support the Crop Walk this year by having our church name printed on the back of the t-shirts for a donation of $100.00. We of course will also be walking to raise money. We are providing $600.00 to send two individuals to Camp Barnabas this year to help with one of the camping times for the physically and mentally challenged individuals. Joyce Schmidt will be one of the individuals going as a certified nurse. We continue to provide $50.00 a month to the Bolivar Area Ministerial Alliance and help out with Share Your Christmas through donations by members of cash and items for the gift bags.
